Changes to Bike Path and Bike Parking at North End of PDX
Thursday, April 13
Starting April 13, the terminus of the airport's multi-use Bike-Pedestrian Path landed on the ticketing (upper) level rather than the lower roadway.
The alignment shift of the path, and relocation of north-end bike parking, is in anticipation of the beginning of the Concourse E Construction Project, part of PDXNext.
The path will continue to safely lead bikers to the terminal, though will jog out onto the roadway. Bikers will be separated from traffic by jersey barriers. The bike parking on the bag claim level at the north end of the airport will be closed. Bikers will be able to lock up bikes in the new bike parking area on the ticketing level at the north end of the terminal.
Travelers can also find additional bike parking, and a bike stand with tools, at the south end of the terminal, adjacent to the escalators due west of the MAX platform.
